I have the mazdatrix setup untill after the pre-silencers, then after that I had a muffler shop bend some pipe and weld up the universal "race" mufflers I bought. If I could do it again I would have bought the whole dual setup from mazdatrix. It cost me about the same, and I would have had HKS mufflers. But it was well worth the $....
Sounds good. I've always thought about giving it a try in my other car. Now I just need $1400.

That's going to be tricky. You could try buying a road race header flange and merge the 2 pipes into 1 to the cat. Then maybe you can use your old y-pipe from the cat after modifying it.

I threw out my stock exhaust, I didn't have room for it. I was thinking about merging them together, maybe to a 3" pipe. Then put my cat in and a silencer or two then only have 1 muffler. All I know is it'll cost a lot of $ whatever I do.

That should work. I like to save ALL of my extra parts. I want to be like Fred Sanford.

Yeah, I live in an apartment, and there is no room for me to keep that stuff.

I live at home, but I'm a bully and leave my junk wherever I want to leave it.

Lucky! I wish I lived a home with my mom, every dime would go into my car.

Yeah, that sounds familiar.
