I try not to get into arguments that I can win by just walking away. Waste of my time. I think it's funny that people talk **** about a car that can hang with the big boys at a whopping 80 cubic inches. Nonsense.

You guys wanna hear something funny.
I'm talking to this kid with a vtec gsr and he says and i quote
"I'd like rotaries if it wasn't for those danm "APEXI" (you know like the brand) seals"
ROFL I couldn't stop laughing in his face when he said that.

I've yet to meet anyone who claims to know enough about them to say they suck. I've met plenty of people who ask what kind of motor my car has. When I tell them they usually want to know more. The engineer types like to check out the rotary animations available, and most people dig the 3 moving parts explanation.

I'll give a brief explanation of how it works, and if they are still talking **** I'll ask them to line up, and give them their first rotary experience; showing them my pretty white tail lights. My boss is a big mopar fan , he though my 1.3 was just a bunch of "jap junk" untill I showed him my time slip for 13.2 @ 106 (a second and a half faster than his 68 350 Camaro that he put $$ into). He was impressed, then I told him I was only into the car about $5000, including the price of the car. He was really impressed then.
