Sometimes when my car is running at idle and hood open i can here a faint high pitched ring. Is that normal? And sometimes when i accelerate real hard i hear a winning coming from under the hood. Is this normal?

 

Check your water pump. When I had a bad one ( different car) it made the same kind of noises.

 

Ill have them check it when i take it rotary performance this month. thx

 

Where are located at? I've been to RP before. To be totally honest with you it would probably cost less to go to your local Mazda dealer. Water pumps are one thing they can't really mess up. Well they can't mess it up and say well it's a rotary and we don't know how to work on those. The reason for that is b/c water pumps are pretty much the same on all cars.
