I figured Frodo would die...
This is how I think it'll happen

*Sam and Frodo make it to the fires of Mt Doom*
Sam: Frodo throw in the ring and we'll be done. Then we can go home and play PS2.
Frodo: I don't know Sam. This ring is pretty powerful, we could get some hot hobbit chicks with this thing.
Sam: Dude, I know that sounds tempting but we gotta throw the ring in the lava
Frodo: Man what do you know. I'm outa here.
Sam: I don't think so bitch!
*Sam shoves Frodo, still holding the ring, into the lava pit*
