Goto Rotarynews.com and read the in depth renesis article. When the rx-8's start getting older and these systems start not working right its gonna be crazy. I mean some of this stuff makes the FD sequential turbo setup look like cake.

I met up for the first time with the houston Rx-7 club. Some of the members got to drive the car while it was down here for the car show. Mazda found out but didn't seem to care much. Anyways...they said the car was bad ***. Easy to drive and stops on a dime. They didn't go into much detail but from my understanding it wont be too hard to work on. Mazda is starting the rotary mechanics certification again. Yay!!!

Like no counterwieghts, The engine will be balanced by oil flowing into the rotors...

The intake system might pose a problem. (ie. butterfly system opening midstream.)

Mazda techs might not know were the air filter is.
