Floor boards for hurculiner, not the engine. I am only painting from the cover down, **** got rusted up before I bought.

I don't leave it in the water unless I am staying somewhere, maybe for overnight, but rarely. I flush it and of course hose the bost everytime I bring it in. This one is actually in prety good shape considering it's almost 10 years old and only has a bit of surface rust on the upper portion. I am not too worried about it really, goes with the territory.

hose it down, then spray it with silicone spray, silicone is the key

As for the floor boards they are just plastic and they tend to be a bit slick when they get wet, which of course happens quite a bit when you are pulling crab pots.

Actually the floor boards are like airline floors. The original owner worked at Boeing, so he tinkered with a lot of ****. He diamond plated the crap out of it.
