From the little I've learnt about this with my car I would reccommend braces on each side running from the strut tower parallel to the front vertical bars to stop them bowing. Also I wouldn't say the lower crossbrace you have isn doing much - I've shown what I think might be more effective, and it would also free up a bit of space for carrying stuff in the boot.
