I'll see if I can get it scanned in tonight. Its a good write up.
Bad news is the SCCA its trying to take control of it. I dont think they have a clue what the appeal is of this sport. Look for RULES and other regulations coming your way at sanctioned events soon.
I hope I am wrong.

Nope your right I read an article somewhere that the scca is going to try and run events here under scca, like the autox. It could be good to get the sport growing more over here but scca has a habbit of issueing stupid rules. To make it work they need real input from people that have expereinced it first hand and not what you see on tv where people just power slide or nose plow into corners

Yeah that is my only fear of the SCCA is a bunch of "rules" and requirements for the car and stuff like that. As long as they aren't too crazy it will be ok.
I read the rules for Autocross and my car would never pass inspection I would just run the highest class that allows all modifications.
If the SCCA wants to come to Japan I will take them around and show them how it is done here.

I was watching some car show on speed channel. I think it was even hot rod tv. They had a small segment on drifting and they showed a few different cars and they were TERRIBLE!!! Couldn't hold a drift for **** and could barely conect two turns. I'd be embarrassed to be shown driving like that.
