Can I hot wire the emergency brake signal wire so that I can watch the DVD or GPS while driving?

I assume I just need a constant 12v. Also any you guys with a DVD/CD does the hidden unit mount below the main deck in the same front?

Thanks

Oh Yea sorry this for the Pioneer AVIC-N2.

the short answer is yes. not sure what kinda signal the unit sees. the stock framus just completes the ground (i think), so it might just need to be grounded, well cut the blue wire!

ground it thru a toggle so you can disable it if a cop pulls you to check it
