Forz is FAR more detailed then GT4 could ever hope to be. GT4 has to run on the PS2 which isn't nearly powerful enough to deal with the level of physics that Forza puts out.
Damage isn't just cosmetic, it makes a difference.
Every inch of the track on forza is modeled, it's not repeated textures.
Plus Forza has real force feeback.
And if you're rich enough or have friends enough to get three xbox's and TV's together you can get wide angle viewing.
Plus there's online play and downloadable content.
Forza will be out next month.
Any questions?

i didn't know that a second disc was for online w/gt4. I had heard that they dropped online play completely. Forza motorsports looks too good to be true, but gt has a proven series. I think online play over xbox live will make the difference between the games. I just worry about the feel of the cars in the microsoft game. I know GT can do that well.
I've played the demo, the cars feel real. My brother was really annoyed that he kept locking up the brakes on the viper. That and causing it to torqe steer so bad he couldn't control it.

i watched someone play with forza, and hit cars and spin out, what i wasnt impressed with the lack of performance which would result from the crashes that the car sustained. Maybe itll be ironed out in the final version, but in this i guess you would call it a beta version, they went around the track backwards, smacking into cars at full-on speed and repeating this a couple times, the damage sustained to the car was very substantial, not really losing as many body panels as id hoped, but the car was running perfectly straight without any loss of performance. I didnt expect this from codemasters, who made colin mcrae 2005 where you have overheating problems, oil problems, completely affecting your car, it even stall out....in forza the 350z they were driving ended up on the ROOF and it still drove around fine!

i dont mind the no damage....but if there is damage i would like my car to be able to **** up. to hit something, see damage and the car not suffer from any degredating affects causes serious psychological damage!
its like pulling out.

I checked forza out looks pretty bad ***, although I dont know that there are near as many cars as gt4.
Damage is good and it should degrade the car, you cant have a realistic game when you can plow a wall at 175 miles an hour and just scoot around the corner LOL

i like the fuel part in GT4 and the full pit crews, yeah fully rendered VERY goodlooking modelled little crewmen running around your car putting gas in the tank and changing tires, its ****** wild man!
running out of gas, i love that concept. mustang < suzuki swift!!!!!
