Quick Should I Buy It?

my father found an 84 rx-7 fr 1200 and i need to know if i should buy it for 1200 it has 62k original miles ad runs i attached some images please let me know asap

Go test drive it, check for rust in the wheel wells, and under the storage bins if you can. If it's rust free, or just has a little bit, and it runs good, then I think you should buy it.

another guy after me has cash in hand for 1200 so he wont move... it has floor board rust and a little around the finder

Well, do you want that car right now, or do you want to wait however long it takes to find a better deal?



If the rust isn't very bad, then it shouldn't be too hard to take care of. With that many miles on it, I don't think it's a bad deal at all. Test drive it, the power should really pick up at 4k, and continue pulling hard until 6.5-7k. If it doesn't then something is wrong, could be minor, carb needs rebuilt, or it could mean the engine is a little low on compression.
