Lowering compression is good for rotary engine's for one reason...MORE MARGINAL SAFETY WHEN RUNNING HIGHER BOOST.

As to the above posts about putting bigger head gaskets to lower compression...DO NOT DO THIS!. If you want to lower compression properly, then rebuild the engine with lower compression pistons.

Get some new pistons, close the deck.

I've got an S2000 here that's going through the process right now to make the charger more effective.

If your serious, give me a shout! I'll get you part#s

I never said I recommended it, just stated that you *can* do it. Its up there with using duct tape to fix your car...

It's a shame that a car the looks so good and is hand built can be OWNED so easily by an FD. They usually don't wana play though. I guess all show and no go.

it's a better car for a girl that doesn't like working on cars than the rx7. IMO
Who said I didn't like working on cars. I did everything on my vette. Oil changes, coolent flushes (1 anyways) and the like.

LOL, I love you too baby, but I'm still not totaly sold on the NSX. 10K for a Turbo would be a dream since a 100rwhp SC upgrade from Comptech costs the same.

I agree on the good looks and hand built quality of the NSX you mentioned, but to say that they are all show and no go is just wrong. The NSX has a higher top speed then the FD and also is faster in the quarter mile. I know that these a sources from magazines but I've read this in lots of mags and they all can't be wrong.

I agree, but it is no.1 an Acura. It's mid-engined with a great engine plus the ease of control. It could however use a great power boost and drop of price by about 20k
I'm glad we can agree on something.

Check out www.nsxfiles.com for some good stories.
I don't really want you to think I despise you, I don't. Infact I'd love to get to know you better. Drop me an AIM
