Don't stop with the intake and carb. Get yourself a cam also :bigthumg: You already have headers and exhaust for it right? Make that blazer bang wheelies, you know....like the FD

Ok now that I noticed that this thread is 4 pages long...

Damn that is a huge radiator! How are you going to run the transmission cooler lines? A popular way to do it in cold climates (like up here in ****** cold MN!) is to come from the trans - into the radiator cooler - our of the radiator cooler - into the new cooler - out of the new cooler - into the trans.

If I was you i'd go with the 195 t-stat, keep yourself/blazer warm in the winter. Is the blazer only used in the winter?? If not maybe the 180 would be better.

Best prices I've seen on cams are PAW catalog and Summit catalog. If you get a Competition Cam/lifters(brand name), make sure they know its for the stock ratio rocker arms. One V-8 I built I bought one of their cams and it was for the wrong ratio of rocker arm, I called comp. cams and they said tough luck(I don't recommend their cams.)

Summit lists their own cam kit(cam. lifter, assemble lub) for $79.95, A Edelbrock kit for $115.00 If you change cam its a good time to change that old timing chain set(summit has a good deal on those also. Also shipping is Free!

like these, all you do is push the ties thru the radiator, then use the square part to zip down on it, like wire ties.
