I told may father that it was probably the second most unpractical buy he has ever made, but getting rid of the ML55, the first unpractical buy, was a step in the right direction. 75,000 for an ugly suv was just rediculous, I would rather have half a dozen S-10's instead of an overpriced, underbuilt krautcan.

It is a different look, and it makes great power. I guess most people don't appreciate american cars. How many rx-7 owners on here own a domestic? About 90%?

 

Chevy should have thought long and hard before they got into building the SSR. Their "target market" has got to be 40-65 yr old males. Those are age groups that would love to own a modernized reproduction of a truck that was familiar to them in the 50's. Long story short....Hard working people relied on those those trucks because of their dependibility and price. That's what made Chevy an "american tradition" It just seems that only a select few can relive their early days or **** their wives off by pissing away their nest egg on a toy.

 

go to the gm car show in motion and take it for a spin... you might end up liking it more. I still can't decide if i like or hate how it looks, but it is really fun to drive.
