I just cut my secondary spring down by about half today, and I was wondering if it is possible that the newley cut sping can be sharp enough to puncture something in the diaphram?? is this possible or do i not need to worry?

Did you cut the side against the diaphram? One would think it would have to be pretty sharp to puncture.
