I could not agree more with you phins, but I don't have anything in my home, or care to get anything in the future in my home, that will support the 360 or the PS3. HD-DVD I could care less about, I have seen blu-ray technology.

Nintendo does go to a different market yes, but they are always daring and have had success with everything they have put out(sans virtual boy, OH GOD what a disgrace!). They OWN the handheld market by far, Sony will never catch up to them at all. They have also released the best periphreals for their systems also. The wavebird is the best and most comfortable controller I have ever used. I played on it for ten hours straight, and did not get any cramps in my hands. I think Nintendo will do very well this time around, but the market will always change to cater whatever is hot at the time. Right now it is Sports titles and violent games such as GTA-style.

I have friends with 360's and it's a good systems. But there are only about 3-4 games I want to play for it. Does not seem like a smart buy.

With the Wii, I want to play Twilight Princess, the new Super Smash Brothers.
ill be getting wii so i can play super mario RPG. and thats about it so far.

I bought a 360 the day they came out. I bought the original xbox the first day. I bought the n64 the first day. And if I wasnt so poor as a child, I would have had the snes and nes they day they came out.

I also test games for microsoft. I can say, the 360 was probably a waste of money. I have played like maybe a combined 20 hours since day 1. Out of all the game titles, only about 3 or 4 have any replay value.

However, nintendo... man. Old super mario 64. Who cant say they didnt spend hours upon hours playing that game? How about zelda 64? How about golden eye? How about something newer? Super smash brothers anyone?

Basically nintendo goes more for gameplay. Which is much more important to me than some "pretty" console polygons. (which dont even come close to a good gaming pc).

Nintendo for the win!

I like my xbox 360, the big time games for this system are what I want out of gaming (shooting, racing). Nintendo appears to offer more of the family-friendly games and sport games than anything else, and I'm afraid 3rd party game creators won't fully utilize the new controlling ("wiimote"?) method to its potential, it'll become gimicky.

I've previously been a huge nintendo fan, still have our N64 and still use the Gamecube quite frequently (can't give up mariokart). But I agree with this guy (good article).

yea "nunchuch" remote, although the ps3 remote will look and feel the same as the old it will also be motion sensitive. Like you said and I agree nintendo is definetely more family oriented and I hate most sports games so there ya go.

Xbox still has no replacement for socom or gran turismo IMHO

What?! Shell out bucks for a doodad that plugs into your TV so you can sit on your *** and play video games til the sun comes up?

The best game box for me is a networked PC. Mr. Nintendo and those other guys ain't gettin' my money!

You of all people should, you sarcastic guy, you. The difference is that a PC is capable of running other apps, whereas the Playstation is either playing, or collecting dust.
