Oh, well did you get the blue ray player free? If not you could have just gotten a ps3! I am not going blue ray, nov 19 xbox will have hd netflix movies I really don't see the need to get dvds once they have this technology sorted and they are downloadable as soon as they hit dvd.

I'm selling the Blu ray. Without it the tv was $2800.



Someone really funked up the sale price!



I intend to build a media PC with a blu ray drive. For now the discs are too expensive in my mind to justify. My DVD player upconverts to 1080i and the HD cable is 1080i, I'll be happy with that for a while.

Yea they just filed bankruptcy, think they are going to try and stay open. LOL I have some extended warranty;s from there.

As your financial advisor, I must tell you that extended warranties are a waste of money. They almost never give you any material benefit, and I find that drinking several beers will give me greater peace of mind than an extended warranty.

Normally I would agree, but there's covers accidental damage, so on things like remote controls and ipods they are worth the $12, i got an $89 remote replaced well out of manufacturers warranty on their extended.

everything i own is cheap so i can replace it for the cost of a happy meal.. no extended warranty here.
