Spent all damned day finishing the engine and then had to do a bunch of ghetto fabulous wiring. I actually drove it around the block with Apnea and Benzalea in the back with the wife and me up front. I think we got some pics they took, I'll have to throw them up when I get them. Looks like I get to park the FD tomorrow and drive the pickup to work!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

Yeah I've had to resort to daily driving it for the past 3 months. Course I daily drove my other FD that was the single turbo beast for 3 years. Who says FD's aren't reliable for daily drivers....

Hey dude, we have another major project underway that you may be interested in. We're seriously considering buying some paint equipment and painting some cars. We want to paint Cyan's FD, since its kinda hurting for paint. We've been doing the research and I think we're gona attempt it. If it goes well and actually looks good maybe you'd be interested too. Our goal is to paint all our cars silver, so you need to get in line with the rest of us.

Yeah that would work...we could all call ourselves the silver bullets and get matching gold bracelets and jackets that say "SILVER BULLETS" and people would-ah i'll just shutup about it.

I like my car being red, but if you guys turn out quality stuff, I'd be interested in redoing my car factory red. All 3 of you have my number, give me a call tomorrow.

I probably shouldn't even post this wire job, but here's the ghetto style wiring. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

ambassador_josh 02-11-2005 01:23 PM

Thats one of those transistor radios you buy from Radioshack with the quartz crystal tuner.

94touring 02-11-2005 04:09 PM

Yeah piece of wood.

So I take the truck to the gas station to fill up the tank. A few gallons into the fill up fuel starts to pour from the tank somewhere. Yep, gotta hole in the tank. JB weld is my friend.

94touring 02-11-2005 04:19 PM

Couple of my work trucks got vandalized by them drilling holes in the tanks. So I took JB weld and pennies and covered the holes. Held great.

if you take the red one the trip ends?

toplessFC3Sman 02-11-2005 09:55 PM

and if you take the blue one, you can drive down the rabbit hole to see how far it goes

HeavyFoot86 02-11-2005 11:23 PM

Thanks Dan, you just had to go and mention the old single turbo'd FD. I rode in that monster not tuned and without seatbelts, can't imagine if it were running right and I was actually strapped to my seat. I'd done a good job of pushing it out of my memory, now I've got Boost envy again.

G2G 02-12-2005 02:37 PM

Don't let Banzai see those pictures, or he'll kill you.
