Yup. Some people will take what they can get. He might not even be aware that he is doing something you don't like. It's really up to you to let him know what bothers you, even though it should be "common courtesy." Could be "his momma didn't teach him right." If he's really your friend, he'll change his ways when you let him know his inconsiderate bullshit is pissing you off. Get it off your chest and tell him how you feel! If you don't, you'll never resolve this, and it will impact how you feel about this friend. Vent. At him. Now.

I think you should sit him down and explain to him, without anger or attitude how you feel. Let him know that you value his friendship, and that you don't mind him VISITING you, but if he is looking for a place to LIVE, then he needs to make those arrangments with you, to share expenses, and so forth. Just being mad at him, only make you miserable. He doesn't even know your upset. If he is truely a person worth having as a friend, once he knows how you feel, he will modify his behavior acordingly. If he doesn't, then you haven't lost anything but a user and who need that. Then you can continue to work with him without having to feel like you kicked him out .
