Oh yeah, I highly reccomend Asus motherboards as well. They're worth $10 more. The Bios alone is worth it... and I've never seen one die. (I've seen a lot of other boards die)





Look at the Asus A7V266 or A7N266 boards... AMD XP2100 can be had for $89 from PCBoost

Yeah, i just picked up the ASUS A7V333, extra nice i had a AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (1.53 gig clock) that chip there at newegg is around $50. Ide raid is nice to!!

I don't know about this buying computers pre built thing, it is a good way to pay a LOT more than you need to for a computer, if you have any knowledge about computers at all, head over to www.pricewatch.com and build your own computer from parts, it will almost always save you money (my next computer will probably be a 3.0 Ghz+ Pentium with the new Geforce FX card)
