Its worth seeing. I am not religious either at all, but it was worth seeing.

Mel gibsons dad said the holocost was fake on TV...and the movie makes the jews look really bad (which they were in the story)...

I love how everyone that was interviewed after they saw it said that it was bloodier and more violent than they thought. It is a movie about Christ being crucified it wasn't a pretty thing. I think they were expecting him to look like he does in church all clean with a little blood.

I haven't seen it yet but I really want to.

I don't think I'll see this one until its out on cable..Religon isn't my thing..
Christ's death and resurrection isn't about religion, it's about a lifestyle, the proper way to live and acheive happiness and fulfillment in life.

Jesus hated religion, which is what the pharsies and religious leaders were into and why they killed him.

the jews did not kill jesus, the religious leaders, who saw jesus as a threat to their organized religion, insited mob rule and killed him.

personally, i hate religion, which is why i'm a non-denominational christian. i lead my life according to teh bible, God so help me. i fail, but i still try. religion can hinder your relationship with Him, which is why in some cases it is bad and the very thing that jesus fought to remedy.

same here...im 0% religious... but its a great story

so why not see it.... its no diff than gladiator or something like that

just a story
NOT just a story. it's fact, whether you dismiss it or not. the bible has been proven with more external sources and archeological finds than any other historcal event.

there are more supplemental documents supporting the bible than any of the past greek philosophers, history that is tought in school as fact.

example: josephefus. he never wrote anything in the bible, but has numerous articles supporting events in teh bible from over 2000 years ago.

the bible was written by tax collectors and historians, not religious zealots out to promote some trivial cause.

Religion only lasts as long as the people that believe in it.
true.

but truth lasts until eternity.

religions of God = bad and only temporary.

relationship with God = good and eternal.

yeah, but when you're dead, cars mean nothing.

the premise of this movie is that when you die, your life can still have meaning and can still continue for eternity.

that seems more important to me than cars, but that's just me.

mike you have a very strong point....youre religious or brought up like it so you obvisouly have a different view

to me the whole thing is just a big book of short stories .. sure some of them are historically documented and parts are real.....people were most likely real and **** like that.... but its still all a story to me....
