Paintballs hurt worse if they don't break.

Pellet gun just doesn't have that visual flare. Or quick second shot on most of them.
Maybe I'll take the dog out tonight and leave a surprise in the grass where they always stand around shouting......

ok so heres what ya do.
1. take a couple of days to note pretty much exactly where they go within say 10 feet, we'll call this place the dead zone
2. see if you can mount the paintball gun on a tripod for a camera or something that will hold it still for long periods of time.
3. late at night have a friend go down to the dead zone with a flash light. (unless the street is lighted well, but even then, a flashlight will be a form of communication to you.. 1 flash - landed in dead zone, 2 flashes - too far away, 3 flashes not far enough)
4. try to hit him with the paintballs. not just 1 paint ball. you really need to be able to hit him (or close to him) with 50% of the shots. else the only reason you hit him is the wind blew it into the right direction for you. try 3 paintballs every 30 seconds for 5 minutes. if all those get in that area, great, if not, wind may play a big role in hitting the dead zone. and you should check later to see if you are still hitting that area.
5. lock gun into position and wait
6. when the people arrive, open fire and adjust the trajectory of the paintballs as needed.
incase trouble arrives at your door (ie cops) you should not have any paintballs of the same color that you used to shoot them with... so go buy a different color, and use all of them on the bike
also if you put all your paintball gear back up where you normally keep them, if the cops start looking through your house it wont look obvious that you were the one to do it, just a suspect. since you live in an apt building (i assume since you live on a floored building) it would be very easy for someone to miscount the floors up and over on your building. it could have been coming from 24 different rooms around you. and thats if they might have only miscounted by 2 one way or the other.
whatever you do, try not to do something really stupid to get caught. i know the paintball gun would become "evidence" and you probably wouldnt get it back.
good luck and happy paintballing

They might not stand in the usual place if it's covered with paint from the rangefinding though!

but if you do this..the cops need a search warrant. if you live in an apartment building....it is less likely that a judge will issue a search warrant because of the high factor of the people being wrong about where the ***** came from.
on the other side....if the judge does issue a search warrant, but not for your apartment...and the cops search your apartment anyway...it is still legal because of the "good faith law"...or some bullshit like that. only because it is in apartments and easy to mistake which apartment is on the warrant/ what the eye witness saw.
so watch your back with this....how much is the smallest amount of ***** you can buy?
I'd buy that many....and keep only the amount you are going to shoot. keep the rest at a friends house. buy the ***** with cash and throw away the receit, but...buy some ***** of a different color the same day(if it distinguishes different colors on the reciet)with a credit card because if the cops check your record...they will see that u bought *****, but a different color. and anything else you buy that day use cash..or have a friend go ina nd use cash.
sorry for the long post, but just try to eliminate any ties to you and your ***** ...because you could probably be charged with attempted murder...and if not that...you can be charged with battery and assault witha deadly weapon
