Paint Ball Gun

What's the range on a good paintball gun?
There's a bunch of people on a 20 passenger bike that keep riding around yelling here. Really starting to get on my nerves, they've been doing it for a week!
Closest they get is about 1/2 block. Can I hit them? I'm up 17 floors, so that should help, but I HAVE to clear the roof top patio of a bar next to them, I like that place.
What are my chances?!?

man, think ahead. trip mine with paint bomb, chicks get covered in paint, then you show up with a bucket of water offering your cleaning services.

Shooting people with a paintball = arrested.
Yea I'm sure you can fairly easily nail them from half a block, but the velocity might not be high enough to break. It would probably still hurt though.
