Because I'd heard FDs took more commitment than an NA rotary. I went RX-8 first to learn what the hell I was doing with just an NA rotary before I had all of the complications of a TT system bogging me down. I was a rotary newbie, and ready to admit that I had things to learn.

Hmmmm, seems like you are coming around. Maybe you should sell your 8 to the guy in the quote above.

Sorry, but owning an Rx8 tells you nothing about owning an NA Rotary. It doesn't help you "learn" anything. It's all brand new and packed under a huge plastic cover. How that prepares you for a 10 year old turbo'd rotary machine is beyond me...

It's the whole reason anyone can drive the Rx-8 and not know what they're driving. You don't have to premix, worry about coolant temps, etc. It's all new and made to be a Daily Driver.

And if you went my route, I don't see why anyone could say they couldn't afford an Rx7 yet they drive an Rx8. FD=$12-15k, + Reliable Honda DD ($2-3k)= Less than an Rx8.

Let me also point out that only in an FC can you get laid in the back seat - well, she'd have to be a hot gymnast or something to be flexible enough, but I wouldn't complain about THAT...

Actually, now that you mention it you're correct. If its rotary we love it.

Thats cause we are the underdoggz, and were the abnormal ones to the car guys who love the old and cant accept the new. Kinda like the hersheys commercial , Change is bad

its the general love of such a unique engine, and such rarity.

i like to think of the community umlike other comminuties.

were not like honda guys, if its a honda its cool, were not about just the car and the style, were about the engines.

that is what sepperates a rotary owner from a car kid.
