To further answer your question- no the part wouldnt be damaged that you would make a mold from unless the paint was shitty or something on it, in which case the heat of the mold might melt the paint a bit, if it was never painted to begin with and is gel coat, thats even better.

Ok lets..talk...Im gonan buy a full kit for a st gen soon....I dont have many options of design .....Kaminari is out of the question now....thier ft end looks like ****....BUt theres a guy tring to sell me an 83 rx7 he wanted 500.$ for it ..it has a racing beat/holley intake on it with a kaminari kit..I can probally pick the car up for ..300.?$ the guy dont know **** about cars...
Take the kit off which isnt really hard..its not molded it ...then i can either sell the car for more after i do some lil adjustments..or gut it for a drag car like what I want to do ..but not sure if the weight will be good...
Since the kit has been on the car and has see sun...it might be brittle....
So give me an idea....Also I want a whale tail....
Can you make a mold and just make me a custom nose based on the size and shape of the one I buy? I just want rounded off fog light holes...and a wide mouth look....
Give me ideas what you can do ...Im just scared to buy a kit and it be damaged..or I get ripped off..

I know whwres there a brown one been parked for sometime ..gonan go back and see if they wanna sell it....I know wheres there a Creme colored 83 ..by the look of the set up..its a GSL ...it has a kit on it and a racing beat/holley conversion...Last time I talked to this guy he wanted 500.$ which is not really what i want to spend..cause I dont need any of his parts..Maybe you can give him 300.$ or something
I have an 84 GS with sun roof..that im doing a GSLSE suspension/rear end set up...it will be bridge ported soon and right now..its already converted to a Racing Beat/Holley set up....
About you wanting a red* intierior the came maroon ...not red..But you can by the inside parts and convert it if thats what you really want...
Do you go to Lakeland drag strip?I have seen rx7s out there already converted to Holley set ups..bridge ported/street ported and painted nice go anywhere from 1500.$ to 1800.$ if you do go out there let me know when the biggest meet is...I havent been out there in a while...

The first gen with the 3rd gen rims and the one you posted. Trust me I liked that kit probably as much as you and this is how i came at the conclusion that it was a kaminari kit.
When I first saw the pix I was amazed at the amount of custom work that it had. I saw it in the above site and it quoted something like "with the kaminary kit that is only available in the island" , meaning puerto rico.
