Ive heard that that is a kaminari front, but wasnt available here in the US. I believe that it was available in PR, though.

It comes up once in a while in the parts trader and ebay.

Thumbs down

Keep kicking me in my *** to convince me this is a Kaminari.....I have seen a car here in Tampa like 2 yrs ago with that ft end.......look at this e mail ..Kaminari sent me ......About this kit...

Unfortunately, the only piece that we can make for the 81-85 Mazda RX7 is the front Airdam, and we do not have any pics available of this piece anymore. The sides and the rear molds were destroyed in a fire we had a couple of years ago.

If you could find a good one off a car, I could make a mold easily and we could sell them, how many you think we would sell though? If they havent made another mold, there might not be a high demand for them

The *** holes at Kaminari feed me some funny bullshit...they told me it cost 25-35k to make molds......

The nose that is pictured I cannot find at all!....I have seen 1 car around here in Tampa area that had it on....If I see them again I will be sure to ask......

Well searching through the net I found a guy that sells white gauges for 1st gens and he has clear turns signals and bumper signals....but no rare lights yet...I know hes taxing the **** of of me ..so maybe one of you Aussies can help me out..he said they come from Australia...but thats it....

Ok about your molds you can make....how easy is it?and would you damage the real; fiberglass part in the process?

Im looking for a full kit for my car...and the long whale tail...

There are a few ways to make a mold, one is to make a plug from foam, which would mean you would have to sand and carve the piece out of a chunk of foam, another way is to make some sort of containment system, pour a 2-part expanding foam in, and then go from there, the 2nd method is easier for something more squared off then rounded. The only possible way I could see a mold costing $35,000 is if its some sort of robot operated jobbie, I just last month I made a mold for a guy who makes large scale chainsaw engine driven radio control cars, and I believe that was somewhere around 10 hrs. I SERIOUSLY doubt the molds they had were robot operated, they make boats of all sizes the old fashioned way, by hand. The difference being in the construction- some are hand laid fiberglass, but the majority of the cheaper "production" boats are made with a method that shoots resin with hardner, and chopped fiberglass into the mold. Once a mold is made- for lets say a front lip spoiler like Vosko mentioned, its probably about a 2 hour job to pop a part from a mold. They could be made in about any color, it wouldnt match the car perfectly of course because its gelcoat, and then you could have it painted.
