I guess. There was a new option added in the upgrade and it was set to yes by default, we're good to go now.

Well yesterday I went out to help my buddy return his GSL-SE to stock condition. We found a rebuildable core at the scrap yard

and are working on it little by little. Since It was a nice day out my son and I decided that it would be a good idea

to take the Weber carbed, aggressive streetport'83 12A for a breather. She felt at home on the highway after that steering box adjustment.

We had a good time and we are closer to the 1000 mile break in on the motor. All in all, a good day for enjoying the company of my son.

Won't be long and he will be too cool to hang out with dad. So this was a good use of a father son day.

sat in it and made vrooming noises! nice that it's finally in my own garage instead of a storage unit.

I actually fired her up again, and get this: Went to the GROCERY STORE! I had forgotten just how convenient the rear hatch is. Makes a perfect place to lay a bunch of groceries, as long as you don't mind them sliding around and getting airborne if your driving gets wild. I shudder to think of what might happen if I were to need to slam on the brakes. She purrs like a kitten--okay, more like a lion. Amazing how good that 20+ year old paint looks in the sunlight. Up close, it's got all those little shallow pits, but it still looks good from a distance. Keeping it in the garage probably doesn't hurt. She might get out more now that we've bumped the Audi outside and moved some stuff around in the garage in preparation for welding a new rear quarter on the Nova. I won't need to move a car to get her out. I still have hopes of getting to the strip once this year.
