im not even kidding, my electric company put more surcharges on the bill, the local papers tore them apart



on a $100 electric bill there is 52% surcharge, PLUS TAXES!



so your $100 of use comes to over $160 on your bill



they put a cap on the electric bill, but the way they are getting around it is this ******* surcharge, and they are the ONLY electric company on Long Island

new york seriously has some crazy power issues. you guys get blackouts for weeks and ****.



but yea, they started doing that in NJ, charging you the extra money for fuel. even tho the electric isnt delivered to your house by a truck lol. i think its to cover the costs of the stupid guys in pickup trucks checking the meters. well that and they do it because well, in all honesty, they can.

I lost my power once, that time like 2 1/2 years ago when the whole northeast lost power
