I talked to them at the brewry and bud gets a percent of the company for all it doing(To me anything to do with Bud is second class) I liked redhook when it was brewed down in Ballard and you had to go to the brewery to get it(you know the old automatic trans shop turned brewrey) Maritime Pacific ale isn't to bad for a store bought ale.

Yea they geta %, but aren't a controlling interest. Either way you cut it Redhook is not a Microbrew at this point. Hell they had a Red Hook display in the grocery store in Key Largo when I was there LOL.

My class just did a management plan for Redhook. Phinsup is right AH is in the distribution, but that means that they own 25%. AH wants more but Redhook, although posting losses for the last couple of years, wants to remain independent.

Maybe they would make a profit if they would stop giving me so much free beer. LOL

Damn I am getting the shakes, time for a brew.

Hey wdw, I am planning on making a batch at NW Brewerks in Kirkland soon, hopefully it will go well, gotta get my plumbing for the soda kegs, hoping to switch to nitro too so I can drive some wicked port!

Hi Pinsup,

Have you tried making a smokey porter, man thats a beer with some kick! Alaska amber brewery makes a smokey porter, but you almost never see it outside of Alaska. If you want a killer receipe I'll email you mine for "Angus McButts Arogant Bastard Scottish Ale." Soda kegs are a good way to go, but have you seen the "party pig" that holds a couple of gal. I do both and kind of like the party pig as you can carry it around. Right now I've got 5gal of beer going and 25 gal. of wine.(summers coming, got to stock up!)

I chipped a front tooth on a toilet while I was puking and passing out one time. Not a whole lota fun. My advice to anyone: if someone offers you a blended drink called "liquid death" just say no.

I like redhook, I think it tastes pretty good. I like the Alaskan amber too. Scuttlebut is a local brewery thats not bad, and so is the Skagit Valley brewery.

If I'm not drinking redhook I usually drink Heineken or Becks, or maybe even a little St. Paulys girl.

All we ever drank in high school was Schmidt, and Schmidt ice. We didn't have a choice though either.
