Molson ice was the highest alcohol content you could buy when I was in high school, so of course it was he most bang for our buck and that's what we usually bought. So yea I've heard of Molson.
I figured it was well known...maybe the further you get from Canada, the less likely it is that you've heard of it.

BTW, I have a Molson Ice neon sign, which is what sparked the conversation...anybody wanna buy it?

Almost all of the beer you can buy in the stores is horse ****! Its there for one thing, to make some big company money! I make my own beer and wine. The last one I made last week was "Angus McButts Arrogant Bastard Scottish Ale." Now thats a beer.(Manly man beer!!)

This is were Bud, miller and that crap came from: During WW11 they didn't have enough stuff to make good beer with(also the ban on alcohol in the '30s killed most of the breweries in the US!!), so they found that they could cut back, add rice and other cheap junk and the public would drink it anyway! Well after WW11 the breweries figured no one knew the difference and making cheap beer made them more money. By the way ice cold beer has almost no taste.(it you want lite beer, add your own water!!)

If you want good beer, go to a brew shop buy about $150. worth of equipment and make your own. You'll never buy store beer again and/or pay their high price.(The bottle costs more than the beer and bud is laughing all the way to the bank!)

If you want to try a good store bought beer buy Bass Ale or Grants Scottish Ale.

Have you ever gotten a worse headace from bud during the summer? They can't make it fast enough in the summer and really cut corners in the aging process!

Theres nothing like having people come over and handing them a beer you made yourself(and know that its better than anything out there.) Did you know that redhook was bought out by one of the big brew factories.

They weren't bought out, they are still an independantly traded and operated company, they signed an agreement with Anheizer Bush to distribute RedHook on the East Coast, but AB has nothing to do with Red Hook the company.

Pinsup,

You got any bad rotary machines to bring over to Port Orchard for the Aug11th show(The Cruz) I'm trying to get all the rotary machines here I can. Rotary Rockets will be attending, and the Saints Car club who put on the 700+ car show are talking about adding more prizes in our car type.

Got my 84 GSL-SE, sold the GSL to a friend. Might be able to swing it though. Hoping to slap a rotary on the sandrail, that would be cool!
