I LOVE THIS FORUM!

I plan on becoming a contributing member in early 2004. I have been pressed for cash lately thanks to the rebuilding of my FC and the holidays.

Progeny said they'll be providing support for older RH Linux install for $5/month or

something, also see if anything came out of Fedora Legacy. I don't know anything about either of these though.

May want to look into it, I am running Red Hat Linux 7.3 and have no plans to upgrade, but it's pretty easy to keep up with updates if you know what you are doing, I could help if you want.

Since earlier RH Enterprise Linux 2.1 is basically the same thing as Red Hat Linux 7.x and they will provide updates for that for another few years at least.

Yea it's not so much the updates of RH that I am worried about it's the updates on the webhost cp I use, they are actually dropping support and any packages I use for updating are actually written for the cp and not RH itself.

Progeny, might offer the custom scripts, they haven't said yet, we'll see. If I move to RHE I will be changing cp's as I am getting tired of Ensim.

Appreciate the offer of help though.
