I just got my Yamaguchi book, when I saw the concept drawings for the FD I kinda got scared because they had some fucked up **** in there LOL. But, then I remembered that it was already made and I had nothing to worry about.



I have the Road & Track supplement to the 8, it has a very nice 8 concept pic that could be the great basis for the new 7. It has the suicide doors, but those could be removed.

 

Here it is scanned. The bottom car looks hot, for the new 7 I'd have it lowered (generally, not the ride hight), remove the rear doors and seats, smooth out the fenders, and give it a nice rear hatch glass. The front bumper looks great IMO, mean as hell and very cool!!!

 

13b rew Miata might be worth owning. But I'd want my mid-life crisis to be something a little less "Barbie Car."

 

I think the Miata will have a 13B very soon... Look closly at the RX-8's 5 speed and 6 speed Transmission and tell me that ****** don't look a whole hella lot like a miata tranny and power plant frame...
