But I'll be posting scores and such, I think I'm really good at racing games, but never actually got to compare to anybody. And all the tournaments around here are for Halo and crap like that.

You don't have to have broadband, you can go through dial-up. Yes your conection will be half fucked and all, but you'll be able to play.
The breakdown of what's needed to go online with NFSU.

Broadband ISP or dial-up ISP (broadband recommended)

they should really have a replay/save feature. i love getting my car in 2 wheels.
also i hate the fact that if u by mistake exit the drift section it lands back at teh beginning, circuit, i raced and lost like 3 times cause of that. i thought i was getting back in the drift section and didnt notice untile after the raced has started.
