Need Pc Help.
is there any way to set a page as homepage if the buttons in internet options are grayed out? really need to get this fixed and only have an hour and a half to figure it out. (last time I search for an engine on the work PC)
ok do this:
1) run: "regedit"
2) Edit > Find
3) in the find box type in the exact homepage yours is now such as "https://www.nopistons.com"
4) give it a sec to find it
5) Right click on the key it highlights, should say "Start Page"
6) Click Modify
7) type in the homepage you want.

hmm you could try making a new key that says start page and giving it the ascii value of http://www.whatever.com, it might work, im not sure about nt, but since its IE i figure it should be same values.
hopefully someone can back me up

its cool. I figured one **** up on the Main PC in 1 year isn't bad. lol. as long as it doesn't kill our server it will be ok. (I work in the hilton hotel chain and their too cheap to buy better servers and PCs) all the PCs are under 400Mhz processors and if we are lucky a Pentium 2. lol
