start>run>msconfig



then click the startup tab and uncheck everything but your virus scan. then reboot..

when i worked for Dell, it was called the 90% fix.

I dont defrag it has never done anything but screw with my pc.

ive owned several pc's, this one is one i just built not long ago. Its never done anything but create problems, even on my dads pcs.



I had a PII 350MHZ i was able to keep it running just as well at my buddies 2.4 and my other friends 2500+ barton, and i never defragged it in the 5 years i owned it.
