I've got a Yamaha bass, it cost me about $500. I love it.

You do get what you pay for most of the time if you know what I mean.

I like Ibanez too, although I think their a bit heavy (weight)

You should go for a Yamaha or an Ibanez to get yourself a reasonable guitar for the price. Don't buy guitars made in taiwan, thats the best advice I can give you!

i got an alvarez regent. i got it for christmas and don't really know if it is a good or bad guitar since i have nothing to compare it to, anyone know if it is a quality or nothing special?

Takamine is the best price/quality ratio you can get for an acoustic.



I got mine for $199 and I LOVE it.
