"Tricked out" is usually bad. I did have a 5th gen Prelude keep up with my old TII through 2nd gear one time, though. I like them, but not enough to buy one.

Oh and by the way I'm not a ricer. I own an Rx7 and I've owned several in the past. I just bought my new one today. Piece of crap, rust colored red, base model 87.

what the **** is wrong with you *** ? ed wasn't starting jack **** with you...

this probably sums up who you are ricer boy: im bigger than god because my honda is better than a civic or an accord... but since the prelude was discontinued it, its better than an S2000.

hmmm... i know that you are not your post count.. but i think this is one of those cases where post count does matter..

btw, your prelude is stickered the **** out.. i don't care what you have done to the motor, your a ******* ricer with stickers galor, kits, rims, and probably a nice weight saving stereo in the trunk....

Well im getting a honda to replace the jetta. I need a car with heat to drive to work when its -19 degrees outside and one without rust that i wont mind putting a little money into when it breaks down. I'm really picky about hondas i like so i was actually surprised i found one in the pricerange im willing to pay for it. Its a Black 5 speed 1.6L 1996 Honda Civic CX (EJ6)

Picky as in: I dont like hondas in:: silver, grey, white, red or really any colour exept black and dark colours. I dont like accords, preludes, civic sedans or coupes. I hate del sols in any colour and it had to be 5 speed or i would have shoot myself. I dont like EG civics either they look like blobs on wheels.

well you might as well buy a honda then eh ?

i really like my accord. brand new with all the goods, but it makes my commute to work a whole lot nicer. its bone stock.. and will stay that way.

however, i hate people who buy hondas to rice them out.... and i don't get why they rice out almost every make of honda... iv'e seen preludes, s2000's, accords, civics, del sol's all riced out.. i have yet to see an odessey a pilot or an element.. i am trying to understand why honda is the car of choice for ricers... i mean, they are efficiency cars !!!! not fast at all.. (cept for the s2000)

They are alright for mountain passes and the like. High speed jaunts not so much, and even for mountain passes a stock 1.6L non-vetec motor wouldnt be the most balsy motor ever but it would still be more fun than most cars. Just being small and nimble. Getting good brakes, making it even more lightweight and upgrading the suspension with braces and some high-quality coilovers from tein or the like would make for some fun jaunts in tight corners. Even if its FWD thats gotta help you with judging corner entry speed.

WTF is wrong with a civic? Not my first choice in motor, but it will certainly be reliable and cheap - what more could you want from a winter beater? When he starts sticking wings and stickers on it them we can make fun of him .
