i dunno if that would work tho, did you read the warranty? the warranty is a contract so in it if they say you have to provide proof of oil changes or use the dealer for servicing, then thats what you have to do otherwise it voids the contract.
sure you could fight it but youd have to pay a lawyer blah blah blah, and youd probably get nothing out of it.

its not in the warranty contract, and its so ******* easy to come up with
some bullshit reciepts anyhow so how useless was the dealer to even say it.
its against the law for them to say you HAVE to use thier parts or

as long as its not in the warranty contract then you're fine.
you will have to do a lot of bitching though to the dealer reps if the engine does blow, but once you bitch at dealer reps they normally get **** done.

ill give you a interesting story, kind of long, but good
my uncle had a Lincoln LSC, it never went to the dealer one time for
anything. Low and behold he runs his engine out of oil, now everyone
should know that a Ford 5.0 HO engine is good for a half quart or so
every thousand miles and this gets worse the longer you go without
changing your oil.
Being my uncle drove the car back and forth to the Bronx every day, he never
changed the oil and frequently ignored the CHECK OIL light, if im not mistaken
the car even had a LOW OIL light for when the oil went 2 quarts low.
So now the car has 64,000 miles, 4000 out of warranty. He calls and gives his
situation to the Ford 1-800#, they tell him the car is out of warranty and there is
nothing they can do about it. Now I come in with good ole Charlie Clocks
and we suck it back to 56,000 miles and drop it off at the dealer where
I was buying alot of parts from at the time. Week or so later new engine was
in and it was done under his warranty. NO questions asked.
I have NEVER EVER heard of anyone being denied warranty for lack of
service, EVER. Closest I can say is one friend of mine who Ford told him
they werent putting anymore transmissions in his car being as they put
3 of them in 15,000 miles and they said he was abusing the car.

yea dealerships seem to get pissy over transmissions i got my durango, about 2 months later tranny was blown, completely it locked up the engine and everything to the point where it wouldnt crank at all. got it replaced under warranty and they put a 12,000 mile warranty on that tranny...it blew 4,500 miles later. they replaced it and refused to put a warranty on it, we called the dealer rep and told him what happened. the NEXT day we received a call and were told we got an extended 20,000 mile warranty on the new trans. I tried to blow it up just to **** off the dealer again but unfortunately it never went, when it finally was starting to go i sold it and got the 7.

there's a law that prevents companies such as ford from owning a dealership, which would basically be a wholesale dealer (skipping all the dealer crap and much cheaper prices).
i just learned about it but forget the full details, but basically thats why you need to buy a franchise license from ford or whomever, so you sell for them instead of them selling directly.
