Yeah... That one has my attention... But I can't figure out the codes... There is CLEARLY 5 blinks after a pause. So it's either the second number in a code, or a code in itself... Unfortunately there is no code 50, so I'm guessing its a 5 for the second number in a code.. Only match I see is a 35, but that's the fan relay...

I swear it's the weirdest thing... Turn key on, no CEL. Few seconds, and that damn clicking starts and the CEL gradually comes on. Soon as the ckicking stops car starts.

**** JEEPS!!!

lol that happened to my moms 95 e320 goon, the insulation fell off the harness one day, and i'm wondering why the harness on my fd is still good?

anything else you see wrong with a 95 e320?
Well lets see....95 E320 known problems:

Front upper timing cover oil leaks

headgasket oil leaks

Engine harness problems

Front lower control arm bushings wear out

Steering box leaks

P/S pump front shaft seal leaks

Differential leaks

Motor mounts wear out quick

Trans leaks

Is that enough for you? Honestly they are good reliable cars for the most part. Most of these problems start showing up around 60-80k miles. They are expensive repairs, but its mainly due to the labor involved. Most of the things I listed you could easily do for her to save her some monies. Let me know if you need to know anything else...

ok try resetting the computer (dunno how jeeps work but my durango was remove negative terminal and put key in on position for a certain length of time)

second the battery disconnect thing could mean a short going to the ecu making it think you disconnected the battery, the short could also be spiking and blowing uop your ecu over a period of time.

just my thoughts.

kevin.
