I have used this electrician for a lot of my commercial work. He totally rewired my entire office (the one destroyed in the hurricane) to bring it up to code and install lights recepticles etc...
He was a really cool guy and always really layed back. I really liked this guy. I was shocked to see he went off the deep end. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/content/...grbic_0126.html I cannot help but envision a scene from Southpark when reading this story. We have a swat team in our town and as far as I know this is the first time in 15 years in has been used. Oh well, RIP Boris you went out blazing. |
Damn thats some ****.
|
Shot him in the head then put cuffs on him....doesn't make much sense to me.
|
i was expecting "my electrician when berzerk and wired in 35 extra outlets in my office... damn wildman!" but not this.
|
His first wife must have been SOME catch, if he was awarded custody of the kids despite jail time for DUI and an aggravated assault conviction. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

I stand corrected it was 14 years ago the last time the SWAT team was used.
The last time Port St. Lucie police found themselves in a similar situation was Christmas Day 1991. Stacey Anderson gathered a stash of weapons in his home on Bowie Street and refused to surrender to police, who after 10 hours rushed into his home and shot him 10 times after they said Anderson raised a shotgun. Anderson was 35, and an autopsy revealed he might have suffered from several medical conditions, including a brain tumor. Again I cannot help but envision a scene from South Park. I am suprised they just dont blow up the house with a RPG. I am sure they were threatened and they did what they had to do. Its just wild thats all. I would probably do the same if I was a cop on that scene. |
Damn, good stable help is so hard to find
|
at least he was at HIS house when he went nuts
|
I'm gonna go berzerk some day.
|
yeah next time this place gets haxored phins is gonna loose it.
...knock on wood... |
He probably overloaded a panel and caused a short circuit in his logic unit. Happens all the time. Oh, wait. I keep forgeting that you people are human and not cyborg. Never mind.

During an earthquake. That's when the ground starts shaking for my east coast homies https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png There were a few times over the last 6 months where I figured I was going to end up in a home making rope soled sandals and mumbling to myself. |

Well, the guy as far as I can tell just wanted to be killed, he was shooting at the helicopter and the cops. Of course in washington cops kicked down the door of the wrong house and ended up shooting an old guy trying to protect his family. Anyhow, Florida is terrible, you don't wanna come here. |

Did they keep him in leg irons, and beat him when he worked slowly? |

what would have been the outcome if mr. grbic had let house get filled with gas from the oven or something, when swat went in and fired?

Dances with Tear Gas -- Beliefnet.com... Black-clad figures run forward, grab the tear gas canisters at great risk because they are hot, and throw them back toward the police lines. ...

phins - bout them sandals. put me down for a pair! |
I'm sure on www.electricianforums.net they have a "I'm at a customer's house!" thread, and the guy actually started listening to what the other electricians said for him to do.
