today me and my buddy went to work and like always he locks my door and gets out and we go work .quitting time comes im ready to go hes ******* around takes his time gets to the car .unlock the door so i unlocked it and it wouldnt open try from outside to unlock it w/ key and it wouldnt unlock either, so now im gonna have to figure out how to unlock this goddamn door.i figure the rod that goes to the lock got disconnected.i dont know what you think?

 

Well at least you can climb through the hatch. You are probably going to have to look inside the door to see whats wrong with it. Good luck.

not sure, but i know that on my GXL, the handle actually broke, so you couldnt open the door nomatter wut from the outside. Sucked ***, and as far as i have seen, its a common thing...

 

is it possible to take the panel off w/ door closed ive took the panel off before(drivers side) never touched passenger side which is the side thats fucked up.so, i guess its not that bad really just enough room for me :P

taking it off with the door closed is nearly impossable without doing some damage. try a slimjim or even a coathanger and see if you gam grab the rod and pull it
