Autocross Bounty @ the Rotary Revolution!

Indianapolis, IN - The Rotary Revolution is excited to announce that NoPistons.com has generously offered a cash award to this year’s top three finishers (non sponsor) on the autocross course.

NoPistons.com will be donating the following cash Prizes:

1st - $300

2nd - $150

3rd - $50

Bursting onto the scene in 2001, NoPistons.com set out to become a rotary community where rotary knowledge and friendships abound. Countless rotary owners and die hard fans have been helped with their projects and purchases throughout the years.

NoPistons.com welcomes newcomers with open arms and even has a section devoted solely to them. NoPistons.com believes that as the community becomes larger, the ties between rotary owners worldwide become stronger.

NoPistons.com should not only be seen as an online community for people sharing rotary-powered interests, but also as a family of people from every background imaginable. We are all joined together by a common love for the individualism that is the rotary engine.

The autocross will take place during the day on Saturday. In addition to NoPistons.com’s cash award, the Rotary Revolution will be giving away trophies for fastest time in the following classes:

2004+

3rd Gen RX7

2nd Gen RX7

1985-

Any trophy or prize that may be awarded at the Rotary Revolution is for ROTARY powered vehicles only. Unless specifically announced, vendors and sponsor are excluded from receiving these awards. In the past the event has allowed guests, workers, volunteers, and non-rotary vehicles to share the enjoyment of the weekend’s activities. It is their hard work and efforts that allow this event to continue. Offering a few runs on a course is a small price to pay for their tireless help. These "alternative" vehicles and their drivers should be shown courtesy just as we expect courtesy from them. Our goal is to bring them into the rotary fold through knowledge and respect of the rotary engine.

1100 Miles each way = 2200 miles.

Truck with trailer will get 15 MPG at best.

I will use 146 Gallons of gas round trip lets say what? 1.70 a gallon = $248 in gas.

Now get this during the open track portion on Sunday I will get 5 MPG or less with my tII. I will empty a tank of premium in about 40 minutes.

So yeah that will just about cover my gas for the weekend.

Lets hope I can win. There could possibly be some hard core SCCA types there.
