I am moving my office next Friday. My father-in-law manages a big cabinet shop. He told me to come down and get some scrap cabinets that he had laying around.

One this we were getting was a giant counter top 7' x 4.5'. So we neede more than a pickup truck.

I went to the u-haul place and all they had was this giant 28' long truck.

It was hysterical to drive. Imagine.. I drive up in my Mini then get into this monster.

The steering wheel had to be 3 feet in diameter and it had a racing LONG THROW shifter. I kept missing 3rd gear because my arm was not long enough!! LOL!

I had to lean my body into it to hit 3rd.

My brother in law snapped a pick. He kept looking over at me and laughing at me.

Thought I would share.

I am sitting at a red light talking to my wife on the cell. I told her I was hanging up as soon as light turned red because the truck was a handfull.

I was just making a stupid face for the picture. LOL!

i drove one of those... it was the most beat up U-haul truck ever and it was stick.

Too bad the syncros were gone for all gears except 4th, and i've never learned how to drive a non syncroless box before. That was an experience

I drive those at work all the time. How many gears you got? Personally I like our 18 speed drivetrains.

Hahaha. Oh god does that bring back memories when I drove a 28 footer from Wilmington to Tulsa. You really have to work when you drive those things.

I love the shifter pattern on the dash (AND shifter) for all the no-talent-***-clowns that they rent it to.... present company excluded of course.
