New I guess Aerosmith and Run Dmc didn't do the rock and rap thing in the 80's. Or Anthrax and Public enemy in the 90's. Don't get me wrong i love putting rap lyrics to hard rock. But I just can't stand Jay-Z.
You want a good Rap/Rock mix listen to Candiria-statistics. Real hardcore rap not all about the money they have and all the bitches and ho's.
I liked the Spawn soundtrack when it first came out cause it was something new but then I got sick of it.

I picked it up, I thought it was really good. Everything blended together well. Linkin Park sorta naturally worked in with it, since they already have a guy who can rap. They did some really good stuff, especially on the Encore track and Points of Authority track. I'm not much of a Jay Z fan myself, but I thought this was just crazy enough to be awesome, and they didn't do tonnes of tracks, so it didn't get old. So whoever the topic starter was, I'm with ya!
