My only concern with the stuff is....

What does it use to prevent spotting and will that stuff used to prevent spotting buildup on the paint and dull it or even ruin it?

Just a curious question....

My friends and I were just talking about this yesterday. They say it's awesome!!! It uses some sort of filter so water does not leaves spots.

The Pur water filters filter out the crap that leaves spots but what is in it to break the surface tension so the water sheets off without the need for drying?

water still evaporates like normal, but when it evaporates, its leaves the minerals behind...hence the white spots...the filter just takes out those minerals

So it is not like something like Rain X does to windows where it actually coats the window to allow water to sheet off?

When you use Rain X you do not even need your windshield wipers most of the time because of the sheeting action of the water.

So if my car has a healthy coat of wax on it, the water will bead up like it normally does and if I left this alone the beads would dry and leave individual spots but with Mr. Clean the beads dry but no spots are left?

I thought they mention in the commercial about some kind of polymer in the soap itself. Maybe I am wrong. I have never tried it so I don't know.
