Moving to Alaska
#1
So the Army decided that I should move to Alaska for the next few years. I leave in Dec. to move there so I won't take the car up there then because its too cold and dangerous to tow it up then. That and I don't want to put an engine block heater on it. Does anyone here live in Alaska and own a rx-7? Should I just have the army pay to store it back home? I would like to hear some opinions about what I could do. If I take it up it would be in the spring to summer months. Thanks.

where in alaska? the southern part is kinda rainy and chilly (think vancouver, or seattle), but it doesnt really snow that bad. its the northern/central bits that its snowy.
also theres like 15 roads in the whole state so theres not much places to drive it...

I'll be right next to Anchorage. They get around 70 inches a year. I'm just thinking about storing it and having my dad drive it occationally. I'll just be sad until I visit Indiana every so often.
