Have a retail detail to do today and I can't hardly believe my eyes, how do ppl let thier cars get like this? It would give me nightmares to drive around in a car this dirty, I don't think it has been polished or waxed since it was painted.

I'm taking a little break so here are some before pics, after's pics soon to come.

the extreme detail contest is awesome. I might enter the Rx7. Its lookin pretty rough....

I also don't understand how people let their cars get that way, especially the inside. I would go nuts if my truck was that dirty. I get pissed if someone so much as gets crumbs in it....

I know it isn't as bad as some of the cars out there but still, some ppl just act like they are allergic to cleaning thier vehicle. I enjoy watching some episodes of Pimp My Ride but I think a lot of that show is lost in editing, not unlike most of the other shows along similar lines. Besides, who am I to complain about a $500 detail job on a mild Sunday afternoon!

After shots...

that car is not that bad at all! Im thinking your a bit spoiled with all those fancy shamcy Barrett jackson cars.

Reminds me of a funny story with my cousin, he calls me and tells me he is detailing cars now and if I had some business to throw his way, I tell one of my friends who owns a body/mechanical shop to give him a shot, so day after he calls me we send him a 5 year old black Suburban, needless to say he doesnt want to detail cars anymore, lol

I cant see someone paying $500 to get a car like that detailed though?

I probably am spoiled rotten, but I found out a long time ago ppl like to pay a bunch of money for a good detail. I usually charge $200 for an exterior, $100 for an interior and $50 for the E-bay, but since this car was thrashed on the interior with dog hair, and the headliner was blackened from cigarette smoke I uped the cost $100, and the car had an oil problem of sorts so another $50 was tacked on to clean the undercarriage.
