Does anybody know if the mercedes 190E came with a manual transmission in the US? Or know which of their cars come in a manual now?

its a whole station of paper!

seriously, its a lot of paper

ok the 190 the raced in europe, so theres all kinds of dtm bodykits and stuff for it. my personal opinion would be to just throw away the merc engine and build a 3 rotor. ANY mercedes engine you build will be more expensive, less reliable and prolly make less power.

I never said I was going to get one. I just needed the info. Parts are spendy since most or all of the parts are from germany.

My M-B experience is limited, but I once rode in a friend's old '70's sedan. I forget what model, but it had an inline 6 with two or three carbs on it. Revved crazy high at cruise. Very responsive for the displacement (under 3 liters). Interesting stuff. I like it.
