Whoa! I didn't realize my thread would get much response...

Well, I guess the more I look at the FD I realize there's something magical about it. I honestly believe that I will never part with this car. It's a grin machine to drive and rewarding to work on (the little I know). I feel like such a rookie saying this stuff but it's so true. I owned a 2002 Audi A4 that I pumped thousands into...I had suspension, motor, and look good mods done and for some reason it was as rewarding a machine as the FD has been. Don't get me wrong...my Audi was sick looking and I love the AWD and I had a silver on black interior that I did and that's what I miss most. But, the FD is about the driving experience and it's a raw, unadulterated grin machine.

Hey, speaking of...I'm in the market for wheels (kind of). I NEED some more rubber on the back of my car and I thought about picking up a set of Konig Villains but I really didn't want to buy a crappy wheel. Anyone know of any good deals on a nice set of used rims/tires? I'd like to see at least 275's on the back of my car.

The third gen 7 has really grown on me, too. I have an FC and never wanted an FD until I got to take a ride in one. It kicked *** and was like being inside an airplane without wings.

I like them all, I just have a fetish for smaller sports cars so I'm happy with my 1st gen.

correction:

mister too hung over, after driving 3-4 hours and passing out on two hard *** benches with a thin *** blanket nearly dying from alcohol poisoning but only getting an hour of sleep after the 2 hour drive to delaware, to introduce himself.

Okay, okay, I'm obsessed. I love the thing and I can't wait to make more money to blow on this thing. :O)

Wheels, some styling, a bigger rad, maybe some paint, an alarm, and I think I'm done! Then the restoration begins...lol
