Look At What Followed Reese Home Today!
What is my goal? Hmmm. . .
Pretty much, I want a car that is capable of handing most anything its ***.
Vipers, Vettes and the occasional Supra? No problem. The best part? My car will have that performance at a MUCH lower price tag, and I did the work on it! It seems like most of the people that drive "higher end" cars would much rather hand over a credit card than get into the workings of their own vehicles. That takes away from the enthusiast part of owning a performance car to me.
I want my car to be capable in straight line as well as in the turns.
I also want it to turn heads when it goes by. This means that exterior styling will be clean. No excessive wings, no stickers other than one or two club or Mazdaspeed stickers.
Finally, I want the car to be MINE. It's nice to admire other people's cars, but at the end of the day, I want to know that that same car that did so well on the street or the track is going to be driven home by ME.
I hope that didn't come across as arrogant or anything. It's just that I was never into cars before I got my first RX-7, and I'm proud of the fact that something I built has the ability to meet the requirements I listed above. I think all of us have that somewhere in us.
